Although remote consultations should be sufficient in most cases, on-site consultations may be needed to observe individual clients/students or provide real-time feedback regarding the appropriateness of crisis intervention techniques. These on-site visits can also be used for staff training, record review, seclusion/safe room review, and participation in facility-wide team meetings (IEPs in schools and annual habilitation plans in residential facilities).
Via Zoom (may be purchased in a 10-pack at 20% discount)
These are individual case consultations regarding the behavior analyst's clients/students. These consultations would cover review of assessments, behavior plans, data, essentially all the components of behavior change including a recommendation as to the feasibility of any proposed plans in the current milieu.
This is post-certification mentoring for newly certified BCBAs or seasoned BCBAs who want to strengthen their skills. Topics might include but not be limited to, discussion of journal articles, writing better behavior plans, root-cause analysis of behavior problems, translating actual problems specified into clear skills and repertoires that must be acquired, and understanding how to talk about mental illness while remaining conceptually consistent with behavior analysis.
Beyond Supervision is NOT intended for newly certified BCBAs in their first year who wish to supervise others. Those individuals should be seeking a BCBA who meets the Consulting Supervisor Requirements for New BCBAs Supervising Fieldwork. Beyond Supervision is mentoring intended to sharpen the clinical skills and the range of expertise of the mentee. And do you really want to supervise someone so soon anyway? Really? Certainly, you can wait a year...
LIVE Via Zoom and/or record/policy/incident review (document review)
These services will prove invaluable for schools, facilities, and organizations that are not currently facing legal proceedings but are concerned about a high-risk problem. This risk could be due to a serious behavior problem or one or more injuries to staff or the students/clients they serve. The risk might also be due to a generally contentious relationship between parents/guardians and the school/facility. Risk reduction may also involve IEP mediation, document review and reccomendations.
